"James Nathaniel Toney" is an Americans/American professional boxer. Toney has won world titles in the middleweight (160lbs), super middleweight (168lbs) and cruiserweight (190lbs) divisions. He was voted Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year in 1991 and 2003. Toney won 11 of his 16 world title fights, and is considered by many boxing experts to be one of the finest defensive fighters of his era; using his old school boxing style known as the shoulder roll. His biggest professional wins are over Michael Nunn, Mike McCallum, Iran Barkley and Evander Holyfield.
