I think a lot of sides would have left it maybe a little bit earlier.

It does give the guys a lot of confidence going into the next few Test matches. We know they'll bounce back. The (Perth) wicket was pretty flat.

They are a proud nation that I still feel are the number one side in the world, they know the conditions, will have the crowds on their side and it all adds up to a stiff test for us.

It has given the guys a lot of confidence.

I am pretty confident I will be 100 per cent fit. I don't know if it's an injury that you can go in at about 90 per cent fit.

I am really looking forward to these matches and it is a privilege to have been selected. From a player's point of view these are the matches you want to be involved in.

I had my first full-blooded throw-downs today and it's coming along. Hopefully I'll have a bat tomorrow and the next day. I'm pretty confident that I'll be 100 per cent fit.

This is huge. I'm so proud.

Australia may have lost the Ashes series in England but I am certain they will be a totally different side at home.
