He's really professional. He really understands ice skating. He has great taste in music. There's no one else like him.

I think they just ran out of steam. I think they have the same quality of skating that the Russians do, and that it's totally comparable, but they just made some mistakes.

People try to be new. Sometimes they push it a little too far, I agree. I like innovation instead of repeating something that has been done.

I've been going to nationals since 1993, and it's definitely clear this is the strongest event ever. It's (drawing) the biggest interest from the audience. I've never seen anything like it.

It's always a little bitter taste when you have a silver medal. It's one step away from gold. I'm sure they will learn from this. I still couldn't be any happier with the way they skated.
