We wanted to win today, get the magic number down to one. I felt good, but in the sixth inning I got the ball up a little bit.

That sixth inning, I got the ball up a little bit and they were hitting it pretty hard.

I felt real good out there. I threw a lot of fastballs and the fastball was down. That's going to be a big pitch for me. I had to get the feel for it. Today was a good start.

He's the greatest player in the world right now. Both sides of the ball -- offensively, defensively -- he's playing great.

I get a little glimpse of it, and then it goes away. That's the thing that's frustrating to me. I'll go out there, have three or four good starts, and then have two horrible ones.

Doesn't surprise me — he's the man. We just walked way too many guys, and didn't get away with it.

We played sloppy. But it's one loss, whether you lose 20-0 or whatever. And we're going to be bounce back tomorrow.

If you can own the down and away strike, it's a huge advantage for you. But if you have trouble owning that, it can almost work against you. Roger is, I think, a little more, uh, what's the word I'm looking for? I guess liberal.

He's real approachable. With him, no question is a dumb question.
