"Henry John Hyde", an United States/American politician, was a Republican Party (United States)/Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 2007, representing the Illinois' 6th congressional district/6th District of Illinois, an area of Chicago's northwestern suburbs which included O'Hare International Airport. He chaired the U.S. House Judiciary Committee/Judiciary Committee from 1995 to 2001, and the U.S. House Committee on International Relations/House International Relations Committee from 2001 to 2007. He gained national attention for his leadership role in managing the impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton.
