I'm following the same footsteps. Now that I know what (the state meet) is like, it's going to be easier to get relaxed and get focused. Last year, since it was my first year at states, I was a little timid going out on the mat.

The tough schedule is going to make us stronger in the end. Our girls have made improvement; we just have to do some things better.

We know being a successful private school that we're under a watchful eye. We were very willing and open for the investigation. They spent a lot of time and energy looking at us, and we felt good about the investigation.

I think if you have a strong athletic program without there being boundaries, there can be advantages for that. On the other end, it is very expensive to go to a Catholic school, and I'm sure there has been a lot of families who would have loved to have sent their child through a private school but could not afford it.

In our state, you have to be very lucky to go undefeated.

That's not happening, I can assure you. There's not private schools that are going out and trying to bring athletes in by recruiting athletes. That is not happening. Maybe the programs attract athletes. Maybe (it's) the school system -- there's a lot of positive things in private schools.

But I hope we're not to the point where we split.

When you're at a public school.
