I thought he'd appreciate that. Whenever Tom led our morning worship service, he'd often just sit in silence. I have to admit, I always liked when Tom led service because it meant I could fall asleep. But hey, sometimes he fell asleep too.

I'll miss his father-like guidance, his friendship and his yelling, because he didn't yell often but when he did, he sounded like Kermit the Frog. I'll miss his smile because he smiled with his whole face. You knew everything was going to be all right.

We're thinking that no news is good news, that maybe they're trying to figure out what their next move should be.

We come to most Eagles games here. We've got four fans here now and I expect four more to join us. There should be quite a few here tonight, but I wouldn't expect any problems. The Eagles have a strong base in D.C., so we should be OK.

It's made me aware of the culture of kidnapping here. Since our guys were abducted, there have been over 350 reported kidnappings in Iraq - that's internationals and Iraqis both - and that's just reported.

It's really become a waiting game.
