Again, we're not overly concerned, and maybe that's wrong, with what anybody else is doing.

We think the athletes really find Hayward Field just tremendous.

We have people in place that have done the Olympic Trials before, have done big meets before.

It's almost like building a start-up company from the ground up. You have to have financial people, you have to have marketing people, you have to have operational people, you have to have fundraising people. It's a big project, a really big project.

Would you rather see Yo-Yo Ma in Carnegie Hall or in the Houston Astrodome? ... I think people around the world think of Hayward Field as one of the more storied track and field venues in the world.

Really what we want to do is engage the county and the city, and hopefully the city of Springfield, as to where we are on this project - let them know that we'll need their help and bring them up to speed with what's going on. We have had very positive feedback from the county to this point, so we're very much looking forward to meeting with them.

If I didn't know better, I would think that you were just making definitions up in an ad hoc manner to avoid coming to a conclusion which contradicted your a priori wishes.

Obviously, Sacramento has been very successful, and we applaud them for that success.
