I thought the first quarter for us was nearly flawless. Our team did an excellent job playing without Erin (Parker), and our bench played extremely well.

We knew coming in that Westfield was a very physical team, and we had to match that. Every game in this region is going to be tough, so we're not underestimating anybody.

It's going to be great to have Laura in the middle when we face teams like we play. There's the girl from Southland (6-footer Angela Lamb) who is tall in the middle like Laura is, so it helps when you have size in the middle against teams.

The Southland game will be even more physical than this one was. We match up with them, and they match up with us size-wise, so there's no big advantage for either team.

Our substitute players have meant so much to this team. You know they are going to play well when you put them in, and it really helps this team out.

It's going to be a hard game for us. We've got to be mentally and physically ready. We're just going to do our thing. We're going to try to play better defense and shoot good and put some points on the board.

I knew whenever Courtney got inside, they were going to double- and triple-team her, and my outside girls stepped up and hit 3s. Now I don't believe we have two or three players on the floor that can play. Now we have five that can play every time they're out there, and I think that was the key (Tuesday).

We're going to have to go out and play hard, we know that. It's going to be tough, and we've got to play our best.
