We are absolutely delighted. Obviously this is the best possible position to be in going into the race but let's see what tomorrow brings.

You have to give it to Alex. I thought he really stood on it. That last lap, I thought he might take it easy in that first turn, but he kept it wide open through that white flag lap.

There is a degree of madness about it. When you go to a place like Bonneville it's easy to see why people used to think the world was flat, that you could fall off the edge. To imagine a Formula One car running (there) is bizarre, totally offbeat. But that's what this is all about. It's a challenge for us all.

We don't want to hide from anything.

I love it. I spent an hour without breathing. It was on a knife edge throughout.

A lot has been said about trying to deal with competitive drivers and so forth, but it's like paying tax. You only pay tax if you make money, and making money is a good thing. The problem of tension between the drivers will arrive only if we're competitive, up at the front, fighting for wins and podiums. That's a problem I would love to have.

Sometimes, I find all that talk slightly insulting. Especially questions like that after I've won a race. I read all that stuff and I know where it all comes from but I don't have any privileged information to share with you.
