There are good running backs and there are special running backs. He is special.

No one is more disappointed than me in the performance we had on Saturday. As a head coach, the buck stops with me, and you are always searching for answers. Offensively we didn't block and we didn't sustain, and defensively we didn't tackle. Every time we did do something well, we took two steps back.

I was really proud of our kids. Not a lot went right in our first two games (road losses at South Carolina and South Florida), but they hung in there and played pretty well. We are getting better.

I really like having that feeling. I'm just so happy for the kids. They've been under a lot of scrutiny lately. But they kept our inner circle tight and kept believing.

They should feel bad. That's what winning and losing is all about. You put in so much time and when you do lose a game, it hurts.

That one really surprised me.

It's a game we would like to see be a traditional game. It is only natural, being that it is two hours away. You are always looking for a 12th game and there is one right down the street. I think it will be a great game for both schools. Financially and recruiting-wise, I think both schools will benefit from it. I know our players look forward to it.

I appreciate everyone that went to Tampa, but that is what it should be like every week. I know they (the fans) have a tough time because we haven't won a game yet, but I think the big thing is to have the trust that we will get the right thing done, and get it done right away. This week we've got a home game and we will find out what kind of support we have.
