I spent my last [money ] trying to come here, and I was really upset that I had to turn around and go back.

I can't stop you from going to South Street or North Broad Street. We can discourage it, but we can't stop it.

I appreciate the fact it pulls all of us together. We've been out here for 20, 30 years working with the youth. This gets all of us on the same page working toward the same goals.

(Salary) certainly is one point of dissatisfaction with teachers and although money is not why someone enters the profession, it is an issue. Teachers need to be able to pay their bills and support their families.

Nothing is going to just stop ... The Lower Woodward Program was really about more than the Super Bowl. It was about the transition of the city of Detroit into something we can all be proud of, to make it more livable and enjoyable and an exciting place to be.

I think it sets a good role model of what you can do. It's becoming a permanent fixture in the state of Iowa and creates a legacy for those people who have helped improve the quality of life in the state of Iowa.

This was a thriving community.

I think for the state of Iowa, it says Iowa continues to be a place where people are recognized for dedication, hard work and the pursuit of excellence. It's something we're placing in high esteem.
