I don't have to look in the media guide to know what happened in those games. I'm well aware of it. I've experienced it throughout my life.

I think bowl games are good. It's good for teams that aren't in the BCS. It's a good way to finish the year. If you win you feel like you accomplished something. In a playoff there would only be one winner.
