"Fabricio Raúl Jesús Oberto" is an Argentine-Italian former professional basketball player. At and , he played as a Center (basketball)/center. With the Liga Nacional de Básquet/LNB club Asociación Deportiva Atenas/Atenas, in his native Argentina, Oberto began playing professionally in 1993, and later played overseas with teams in Spain and Greece. In 2005, Oberto signed with the San Antonio Spurs, a team of the American National Basketball Association, and won a championship with the Spurs in 2007 NBA Finals/2007. He is also a former member of the Argentina national basketball team.

[In my youth], I played a little soccer but I think because of my height and my friends I got involved in basketball. It was my passion since I was young. I started playing at age 7, so I've been playing for quite a while.

I feel more confident in myself and with the system. I don't go running around like crazy at the beginning anymore.

I still haven't seen a tape of that game, only when they've showed highlights in Argentina, and almost everyone starts crying. But it taught us a lot of things for the Olympic games.

Playing in Europe so many years, you see more strategy, not so much freestyle game. You learn how to make plays for your teammates. For me, that is one of my powers.
