If you rush the healing and rehab, the body won't heal correctly and you will end up with more problems than you started with. Coming back too quickly, you could retrain your brain to move in an unnatural way compensating for weak muscles (such as a limp or favoring a leg).

If I have a room conducive to getting me to exercise, that helps. Maybe it's got a TV, sound system, air conditioning, lighting that's not too bright but not too dark. You're going to feel more relaxed and be more likely to use the room.

The caloric burn is not significant. Yoga doesn't assist with lowering blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol or other cardiac risk factors.
