These D.C. bean counters don't understand the cultural importance of these three museums. Denny does understand the importance, not just in Indian country but in Montana as a whole. If the Bush administration wants to try to close it they are going to have a fight on their hands.

That doesn't mean that the goals are not worthwhile, but how they are executing this plan is problematic. There is no sense penalizing a museum like the Plains Museum because somebody else is counterfeiting. The message we sent was to find another way to achieve your objective.

He believes we need to reform government spending.

He believes this will bring some fiscal accountability to the federal government. It does that without raising taxes and at the same time is helping as many of those in need as possible.

Every time we raise federal spending, universities go ahead and raise tuition. Are the students ever going to get ahead?

At the end of the day, we have to get this right.
