It was a very tight game throughout. Despite the final result, I am very excited about how well we came out and competed.
We're trying to force low percentage shots. We need to take care of the ball more, continue to settle and work the options that we have set up.
It was a terrific home opener. I thought that both Lauren and Shannon [Frawley] really came up huge for us. This was a much-needed victory as we head into conference play.
With the exception of BU and New Hampshire, all the schools are pretty tight and we expect close games. Every game is pretty tough. We're still growing as a team.
Besides BU and UNH, it's anybody's game depending on the day and injuries.
Our defensive unit just put forth an absolutely awesome effort today. I can't say enough about Sandra's performance in net. She was just terrific.
Sandra played exceptionally for us today. I patted her on the back and told her she did her job well today.
There was not a lot [Alvarez] could do on some of those goals.
We got out-hustled today. We did not do the simple things that we need to get done to win.
