It's next week that counts.

(People at school) ask me what I did and I just tell them my all-around score because they don't understand. It's so hard to explain so I just try to keep it as simple as I can.

I don't regret not competing as a freshman be-cause (focusing on club) is what got me my scholarship and my future is way more important.

I like knowing that people know me for gymnastics, but at the same time, I have to watch myself with what I do. For adults and little girls, like the younger gymnasts, you don't want to leave a bad impression.

Up through my freshman year, I just loved gymnastics. As a sophomore, then my junior and senior years, I started to get burned out. That was when the whole scholarship thing became an issue. I figured I had done gymnastics for so long and worked hard enough that I couldn't stop now.
