It just appears now is the best time to do so, ... I need to be able to focus all my time and energy to being the executive of that organization and not be splintered in other directions.

I definitely think they want you to achieve and they're not going to put up ? like my parents would not put up with nonsense like with being lazy, with not trying hard enough, with second best. That's not OK.
