It allows things you couldn't do before. The network is fast enough that computers can really be used for complex problems.

I met with all of the council members several times and we had all kinds of discussions. I'd rather not concentrate on things that divide us. I'd rather concentrate on the things we have in common. We have a lot of work to do to serve the community and we should get to it.

It hasn't been possible to interact with a dataset that large before. The thing that's exciting is that the state has a network as good as anywhere in the world.
