He wasn't winded at all. He looked really good. Definitely, NBA shape is different, but he had extensive weight room work. He's always working out. He's going to be 50 years old and not gain an ounce of fat. He's a freak.

We don't feel bad [for him], because we know what kind of person he's still going to be in the future. Not for one second does he ever say, 'What if?' No one else does, either.

Jay talks about guys being superstars, regardless of how they are out on the court. He always puts Jason in that category. He's still a leader on this team.

We reminisce a little bit about the run. But usually we argue over which team could go on the same type of run this year.

The first thing you need is experience. You need to have senior leadership to really go far, to get you through the tough times.

He's a bulldog. Determined. Aggressive.

Ask every coach in the NCAA. Who wouldn't want to have a dominant big man? They'd all want to start with a big man, and that answers that question. There's not a coach out there who would turn down a big man.

It was all about will and you just don't want to go home. They didn't want to go home, and we didn't want to go home.

It's sometimes embarrassing when these guys come back, because he makes such a big thing about them being part of the program. They really respect the fact he integrates what they've done with the guys that are currently here.
