"Dustin Luis Pedroia" is an United States/American baseball second baseman with the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Pedroia was drafted by the Red Sox 2004 Major League Baseball Draft/in 2004, making his major league debut in 2006 before becoming a full-time player in the 2007 season, and winning the American League (AL) Major League Baseball Rookie of the Year Award/Rookie of the Year award. He is a four-time Major League Baseball All-Star Game/All-Star and an American League/AL Major League Baseball Most Valuable Player Award/MVP award winner, and has contributed to two World Series List of World Series champions/championships. Pedroia remains under contract with the Red Sox until 2021.

He had pretty filthy stuff. He's telling us where it's going and it was still tough to hit. He looks like he's in midseason form.

My goal is to play in the season, not Spring Training games. It would be nice to get out there and show them what I can do. But in the meantime I need to get myself ready for Opening Day and get out there playing, that's the biggest thing. I'm just resting right now, just doing all the rehab stuff, just kind of shutting baseball down a little bit.

It's been fun back at short and switching off to play second every now and then. It makes practice a lot more fun.

I'm not putting pressure on myself. I'm 22 years old. I just want to be healthy, go out there and play hard and just play my game.
