I have never been able to protect an idea in 20 years. I have since found out that I probably could have done so. I would be much better off today if I had been able to protect some of my ideas.
Right now, there are more opportunities for investment in the UK than in the US, and they're better priced as well.
There are many advantages to being based here - it's a more mobile market, and there is access to lower development costs through outsourcing.
