If you look around, our community has become more diverse in a lot of ways. There's something new happening here and we ought to pay attention.

I was in grade school, and I remember lying there in that natural environment, looking up at the canopy of stars, watching it move. That was the moment that sparked my interest in science and in the world around me.

When I went to school there was no doubt that there are nine planets. Now, maybe there are eight or 10 and we've found a whole bunch around other stars.

We all love to read, and sometimes, everyone in the family reads the same book so we can talk about it. Stacy, Sarah and I all read the new Harry Potter book together the day it came out. We each had our own copy, and we all stayed up late to finish it.

If the numbers were there, if the need was there in the mid-1980s, I don't see how it could not be there in the mid-2000s.

We could not find anybody to finance a hospital in the Tri-county area, and that's where it died.
