He currently serves as State Treasurer of Nebraska, having been elected to the post in 2010. He previously served as Attorney General of Nebraska from 1991 to 2003 and also served as legal counsel to Governor of Nebraska/Governor Charles Thone from 1979 to 1983. We need more border patrol agents, we need to use modern technology and build physical walls or fences to seal borders before we can adequately address the problem of illegal aliens, drug trafficking and threats of terrorism. I do not support amnesty for illegal aliens.
