When you advance to the Sweet 16 for the second year in a row, playing like we've been playing, you're elated. We were in a tough one and realized our backs were against the wall. We knew that if we didn't respond, we'd be at home (for the rest of the season).

Everybody wants to play more and score more, but the guys have sacrificed personal stats for the team. We've had to work at convincing some of them, but I felt like several weeks back we turned the corner on that.

There's no question ... the depth we have is paying big dividends. We're still fresh. We still have strong legs. The platoon system we run has helped us, and we hope it continues.

All the teams still playing are good. All we can do is play them one at a time. We're thankful to be at home to start it off.

We're playing as well as we have all year. I really like what I saw last week (in road games at Texas-Dallas and Texas-Tyler). Everybody was on top of their game. Hopefully, we didn't peak a week early.

We're able to create offense with our athleticism and speed. We're faster than we have been.
