We started enforcing it as MLL policy this year. It came about to allow for safety of officials and fans because of the closeness to the playing surface.

It's probably the best tournament around for anyone 17 and under. You get the three rounds, a cookout, and its all stroke play. So we are hoping more of the juniors sign up to play.
