Their wives called Mrs. Hackett.

We're disappointed in this indecisiveness and lack of leadership from the national Democrats and Sherrod Brown, who said he wouldn't run.

He found overwhelming support from the leaders of the Democratic Party, campaign organizations and staff.

I would guarantee it's going to get nasty. We are going to have an aggressive campaign.

Bob obviously arrived here in fairly serious condition but he stabilized very well here. Every hour that's gone by he's shown improvement or hasn't gotten any worse and they say that's good news.

We want to see him recover and return to what he loves to do. Maybe not back to Iraq, but certainly I think he'll want to get back to what he's always wanted to do.

He's been getting great care since he's been here, and he's been improving, and we're hopeful.

Paul Hackett is running for U.S. Senate.
