I've been number one and number 1,000, but I've hit bottom and I'm coming back up.

Obviously you can talk about the fact I hadn't played very well for the last year. But I am perfectly content, and believe that I will play like I can play again this year.

I guess my biggest goal would be just to work on the things I've been working on and feel that much more comfortable with it.

[Duval knows he faces an uphill battle.] People talk about the grip change being so hard, but for me that has been the easiest thing, ... The hardest thing has been changing the way I release the club. I'm still not doing that like I want. Even when he was 50 to 55, 57, 58, you kept thinking that magic he brings would somehow show up. It really wasn't until he had health problems with his hip and his back that it changed. That's the magic of Jack.

Confidence is such a fragile and precious thing.
