It was dramatic. The big thing you look for on special teams is changing field position. When your team is struggling, a big play in the kicking game can give your team a spark. We didn't get enough of that last year.

That's a thorn that has stuck in our sides for year. We went from being one of the best to the bottom 10 in the nation last year. I have let it be known from Day 1 in practice that we will not forget that.

They (the special teams) did exactly what we asked them to do...we started out the game great, set the tempo and it was just real fun from then on.

Everything's been expanded from paints to plumbing to electrical.

We do everything we can to minimize mortality.

It was a bull moose, walking right through town. I had been to Alaska before, and I've seen moose, but that was a hell of a deal. That's not something you see on your average recruiting trip.

I was a little leery with the weather like it is. The ice was about six inches thick. It was safe where we went.

It was crazy. I spent more than one night in my car so that I would be the first in the home on signing day to make sure my recruit didn't sign with someone else.
