"Damon Bailey" is a retired American basketball player. Bailey rose to national prominence after being recruited by Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball/Indiana coach Bob Knight as an 8th grader, an unusual event at the time. Bailey went on to become Indiana's all-time high school leading scorer and would earn All-America honors playing for the Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball/Indiana Hoosiers. He became a cult figure during the late 1980s and early 1990s in Indiana. Bailey is currently an assistant coach of the Butler Bulldogs women's basketball/Butler University's women's basketball team.

This is a very big win for us. I hope it's a big confidence booster.

There's no doubt in my mind I understand basketball as well as anybody. My assistants and I have a good relationship and we talk every night, but from day one I've had the final say.
