I would not want to over-exaggerate (but) ... they represent a degree of momentum. Let's see whether there is the appetite there to really try and move it forward.

Deadlines have no credibility. What we have to concentrate on is getting the job done.

We are still drifting toward a rock. There is a genuine effort to get the engine restarted but I haven't heard any engines restarted yet.

Fundamentally, it is a question of basic political will.

We are not in anything that I can recognize as a closing zone.

You don't close divergences by taking time off to have a cup of tea. If you do so, you will find that everybody has moved backward in the meantime.

It was not a bad week as these things go, perhaps even a little better than anticipated.
