He works hard and he tries hard. He's no-nonsense. He's got a very good way about him. I like his attitude. I like horses and people that give their best, and he fits into that category.

I still don't think it happened. It's a big shock even now. Going from the best shape of my life to not even being able to walk was really strange. It took forever to get used to, and it still hasn't even set in.

I only had a couple of pieces. I was worn out after trying to eat that.

I didn't give myself any time to let it set in. I didn't go through any depression, and it's not something I dwell on. It definitely helped to have goals.

I was really anemic. We still haven't figured out what happened, but as I started training harder and breathing more heavily and intensely, scar tissue started cutting my lungs and I started bleeding inside. I kept racing so it never healed. I have been working on with a breathing machine the past six months to strengthen my lungs.

It was nothing major. I crashed on the descent, although it was weird crashing a mile before it happened. I wasn't too happy with that.

Tom knows our solutions and services inside and out, and is the perfect fit for this new role within the company. Working extensively with VARs within this industry for years, he has the leadership experience to ensure we have the right partners to ramp up quickly in these new markets.

I didn't really have any big goals. I just wanted to gain experience. I was extremely excited to do it. I just wanted to get in there and finish.

Going back, and thinking about all that happened, it's hard to believe I came out the other side strong and healthy and still racing. I'm just happy to be racing.
