I can't tell you how much work we have put in. You add up how many swings we have taken, it probably doubles what we had last year. Now, they are having success and they are believing what we are telling them.
It was really frustrating because we couldn't get stops when we needed to get back in the game. We tied up after the first minute, but we couldn't get the stops to get back in it.
This was a lot better, because we played with some emotion. We had a chance to win. We got good shots, we just didn't hit them.
We talked about playing flat and having no energy out on the court.
We know West is a good ball team and we are going to need our best game to beat them.
We need to start playing better defense and with more energy. We can't let teams stay in the game.
Our kids are finally getting what we are trying to teach them. Hopefully, we will keep this going.
