Ko-Thi has not scored well. As its income has gone down, its UPAF appropriation has gone down.

It is about getting involved in the betterment of us all. This community will stop growing if we don't broaden our net.

I think it's a great idea. I think we have a lot to show off in this community. We have more high-quality performing arts per capita than many of our sister cities.

The task force will function like an ad hoc, ex officio board committee. There's a fine line between managing the business of Ko-Thi and being advisory. At the end of the day, the committee will be managed by Ko-Thi and report to Ko-Thi, not to UPAF.

UPAF's strategic advisory committee did a lot for the ballet, more than an infusion of money would have.

Better organizational results, ... should drive Ko-Thi's allocation higher.
