I'm not real big on going with the wind. It takes shots off (the mark). I think they needed to calm down some. That's why I think going against the wind balls were able to stay lower and give us better scoring opportunities.

It felt like a scrimmage.

That's why coaches tell players to never give up. Little mental mistakes like that is how you score.

There's a couple things we wanted to work on that I thought the girls were able to do. I think this was a good game for us coming off the slaughter from Friday and get us back on track.

Definitely no slip-ups, no injuries. Like I said, just keep working on the way were attacking and get us prepared for playoffs. It's only two weeks away.

We were able to get the ball wide, cross it back in and get our head on the ball. That really helped our people in the box get to the ball and get some goals.

They were beating us to balls early, but we started to pick it up. Our forwards started running through the ball and being very aggressive. That allowed us to take advantage of their mistakes in the back.

If you want to be the best, you have to play the best. Unfortunately, we went to Oklahoma and had some tough games, but I think we played real well against Broken Arrow.

That's why coaches tell players never to give up. That's a key example right there … In a game like this, little mental mistakes like that are how you score.
