The last four games she has given us valuable minutes off the bench. When opponents give her the opening, she makes it.
Our focus was getting the ball inside. We had a sizeable advantage in the paint and exploited it. I thought the guards did a great job of identifying that and getting the ball inside.
No question we'll have to play better. We are looking at this game as an opportunity. Not too many teams get the chance to play the No. 1 team in the state, so this is a great opportunity for us to show what we can do and avenge a very disappointing game last Friday night.
It was a well-officiated game. That's just an alarming stat and really shows our lack of aggressiveness. We just weren't taking the ball to the basket.
When it counts, they find a way to get the job done. They are seeing this thing all the way through. They've been the first group that has seen the benefits of our summer program and our fall program.
That's probably the best quarter of basketball we've played all year.
We just showed very unselfish play. We had excellent teamwork.
