We started off by losing a tough one at 103 and we rebounded well with Javier and Mariano (Portillo) having big wins.

Fatigue and the flip were both factors because we had a tough match against Mahnomen.

Things started off nicely tonight with Anthony getting that pin.

We ended up winning all four of those key matches and it would have been a different story if we lost those but we steam-rolled them.

He was wrestling really tough on the day and you can't coach balance and quickness and Javier has both. And once they get the momentum going it's hard to stop that youth.

He's a senior and he has to prove to himself that he can handle it.

The night started with a pin and ended with a pin and we took care of things in the middle.

He's proved to me and proved to other kids in the region that he should be a one or two seed.

It's kind of disappointing when you get a lead like that and watch it disintegrate, but that's kind of been the story of our whole year.
