I've known since last year I was going to run. It was just a matter of who was going to be running with me.

We already heard talks of it happening so we had a public computer sit out in a lobby and asked people to vote. When they sat down to vote, most of them couldn't because it said they already did.

All I wanted was a fair and just election. I'd like to see this go to court.

We're saying (this) is a lockout because of retaliation over that no-layoff arbitration that we won.

I completely disagree with his statement. That is not the case. My negotiating committee tried to get a deal, they've been more than willing to try to come to a compromise. And I don't feel we're getting that from the other side.

Here are the facts for my campaign. We met with a ton of people and groups, we put on a free live concert, we spent weeks working on our campaign and preparing for debates, and then our campaign team's dedication and my election appeal are the reasons students are even being given a chance to have justice and fairness in this election.
