I think it's fair to say we're trying to broaden our audience with some of these shows.

I think it's a better placement for the artist and for the audience. I think it will turn out to be one of the truly special events of the festival.

The reality of our business is that we have to build a sense of momentum from year to year. You have to create an event that people are going to want to buy into before you even know who's playing. The festival has to be more than just a series of concerts. We're offering a total experience of the downtown park, of food and music on a summer night.
