We were hurrying too much and we needed to slow things down. That is something we need to get out of this game — when we get pressured, we need to slow down and take care of the ball.
We definitely played hard tonight and came out strong early. We came out and wanted to run them down early and that has been kind of our identity this year. We have been sticking to that.
Yeah, I think so. I picked it up pretty quickly. A lot of us got out and had fun with it. It was a lot of fun.
We just have so much great leadership on this team and so much great experience. We know how to handle adversity, how to handle tough situations.
We knew they were going to have great defensive pressure. I think they got us out of our offense a little bit. So I think in those situations we need to stay poised and execute our offense a little bit better. I think that's what we are going to work on as we continue Pac-10s.
We've (shot) very poor percentages and come out with a win. We just need to play harder. We lacked physical, tough play for 40 minutes.
Truthfully, in the back of your mind, you know the NCAA tournament is coming up. I haven't been there yet, so I'd love to experience that. But right now, 150 percent of the focus is on the next game.
Sometimes you get frustrated when a team goes on a run. But we have to be able to handle that. If she hits a big shot we need to hit one of our own.
I don't think last year we'd have been able to pull it out. We're so much improved and have such great leadership this year.
