Jeff has more experience running the offense but Brandon brings a style that is hard to defend and he makes things happen out there. I don;t know that I'll name a starter until probably the day before the game. They are very close and what I'm hoping is that one of them will breakout by midseason.

You don't replace that kind of talent overnight, but I do feel like we're as athletic as last year and maybe even a little quicker.

Bob has just done an outstanding of building up that program and being competitive and has produced perhaps the best home field advantage of any team in the region and maybe even North Georgia. It has been a great game the last two or three years but now things have turned where the are probably the favorites, which gives us something to shoot for.

That's as tough an opening four games as you can have. If we can come through that with a couple of wins, I like our chances to have an excellent year.

I haven't seen this region, or many others for that matter, that are this balanced where you play a solid team each week. There are no games on the schedule that you can point to and say 'we should win that one,' ... You can't relax on any week. But I think that makes everyone better.

The key for us will be what kind of start do we get to the season.

We're going to be as balanced as we can but I think this team will have very good quick-strike ability. We'll try to stretch the defense withe the passing game but you have to be able to run the ball and think we have a solid backfield to so that.

Whenever I saw her, whether it was holding court backstage or pumping gas at a Broad Street self-serve, she always rushed forward with a torrent of warm words, a wry smile and an all-embracing hug. Her talent and her humanity are irreplaceable.

We will be quick and I like the way these guys play. We played very well last year except for one game, where North Hall just took it to us. But as good as we were most of last year, I think this group could be even better this year.
