We're pretty disappointed, but I told them that it's not the judge of the kind of men they are. I can't wave a magic wand and make it all feel better. It was not a good day for the City League.

It's about time. I'm kind of numb. I'm just happy for the kids. We had five champions, and the seniors got to go out the way they wanted to. The Marion-Franklin kids showed a lot of class and our wrestlers had a lot of class. Right now we just want to get the kids ready for the state tournament.

We want them all to go on, and realistically they all have a shot. They all want to be state-placers and they're all looking to be pretty tough. I just want them all to have a good time.

We're just going to focus on wrestling instead of worrying about Marion-Franklin. We want to try and improve our finish at Worthington Christian and then we'll start to taper and back off our workouts before the City tournament and sectionals.
