The big difference, obviously was our shooting percentage, they?re a great defensive team. Having to go up against 6-10 and 6-8 kids caused us some trouble, especially on the offensive boards.
We put in extra bleachers behind the baskets and we still had a lot of people standing. It was a great atmosphere for a high school basketball game. We just needed a couple of 6-8 guys.
I was very concerned when Josh fouled out. I was afraid we?d lose our momentum that we?d gained.
The great thing is our kids never quit. They were scrappy and fought to the end and that?s all you can ask for as a coach.
It was highly unlikely for us to make that many free throws down the stretch.
