"Brian Joseph Leetch" is a retired American professional ice hockey Defenceman/defenseman who played 18 National Hockey League (NHL) Season (sports)/seasons with the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Boston Bruins. He is generally considered one of the top defensemen in NHL history, being particularly noted for his skating, offense, and playmaking abilities. He and fellow Rangers teammate Mike Richter were inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008. Leetch was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto the following year (his first year of eligibility).

I think that's [a function] of the guys adjusting. Before, guys would automatically put a stick to the hands and things like that. It's the same with any time they change a rule. If they continue to call it, guys will adjust and it will be in. It's just whether [the officials] are going to continue along that path.
