The first three or four possessions were bad; we took some bad shots and turned the ball over. They made a run on us and we just couldn't recover. We lacked some offensive intensity, or guidance, or whatever you want to call it. We got in a hole in the third quarter, and that hurt us.
It's great for us to make 15 out of 15. Historically, we haven't done that. We hope that trend continues.
We had some really bad offensive possessions in the second half. We took some quick shots and some bad shots. We just didn't make enough baskets.
We were terrible offensively. I can't remember us playing any worse than that offensively. Early on we were a little tight and took some questionable shots, but really, we just really couldn't get any shots to fall. We didn't get in much of an offensive flow.
It's really neat for us to go up and play people we don't normally play. We're getting more confident in our ability to win.
They can really score and because they can really score, you've got to maximize your own possessions.
We did a good job with our assignments and as far as help was concerned. He's as good as we've played against; he can shoot the three and he can dunk it.
I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but I'm glad we don't have to talk about it anymore. Hopefully, we can start another one.
I thought we had the same type of effort tonight that we did last night, we just made more baskets. We made more shots and because we hit more shots, we were able to win.
