As I've said all along, I just go where they tell me.

It certainly helped today, because [my] fastball command wasn't there, ... I was up with [the fastball] all day and wasn't really able to get ahead. I just think that was something that kept them off of it a little bit. If that changeup isn't there, I think it's probably a rough day.

I don't look at it as I'm backing him up. I look at it as I'm in the bullpen and I can go in for anybody basically and they could throw people ahead of me or whatever. I just throw basically when told to.

It's a tough situation to be in, ... I certainly don't wish anything against him. If it stays the way it is, I just have to be ready when called upon.

It was a little tougher getting there because I didn't feel as sharp command wise. But I felt that I did a good job in big situations and made a quality pitch and the defense was there behind me. It was one of those that just seemed to happen.

I don't look at it as I'm backing him up.

I knew coming up here my role was that they put me where they need to. If that's in the bullpen or starting every 15 days or whatever, that's fine with me. The only thing I try to focus on is making sure I'm where I need to be when they put me out there.

I'm fine, no problem with that. If I have time to ready and get comfortable, I have no problem with that. My arm is not used to getting up and sitting down. Other than that, it felt normal.
