There's a lot of promise here.

I played for a lot of years in this league with integrity and honor. I'm proud to be who I am. I don't feel bad. But I feel the whole situation is regrettable.

I loved it. That's why I'm so frustrated (about the groin injury). I'm so proud to be here.

In case there's some boo birds, so they didn't see me.

I didn't feel my best. It's funny, I've never had a groin injury. They're kind of nagging. They don't hurt; you just feel a lack of strength. I've talked to a few buddies, and it appears that it's a trend around the league right now.

I pride myself on doing whatever's asked of me, but there's no question that's what I like to do. It certainly gets me into the game that way.

What we are hoping for is that they keep their promise, ... still be in a position to provide necessary response force.

What's next, a trade for Bertuzzi?
