Southbound (traffic) going into the city won't be impacted by the delays on northbound I-15.

We are concerned with the growth that's out there. The speed study will take that into consideration, as everything else. It doesn't necessarily mean that the speed limit will be lowered.

This is just the beginning. This isn't going to take days or hours to complete, this is going to take weeks and maybe even months to complete. And I think you can be absolutely certain more charges are going to be laid.

It was found to be fine.

If you look at the causes of the accidents, quite a few of them are operator error. We need people to be diligent and follow the rules of the road and drive more defensively.

We need locals to use the north-south roads that serve them best. If you're a local and have a better route to avoid some of the congestion, use your best judgment. Of course, Las Vegas Boulevard is the primary north-south route.

We're planning to do another speed study to determine the safest speed on that highway.

Just the traffic volumes. It's something our bridge inspectors are taking a look at.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get that done by the end of this week.
