Apparently a new family had moved into town and found two giant penguins hanging in the garage. Everyone knew that they belonged to us, so now we have twins because I had already made replicas to replace the missing ones.

Life was just has hard, if not harder, for women in small (fishing) towns. Men went off to sea, (women) did everything else. They made the culture; they raised the kids.
